Yikes, term 2's starting tomorrow D: I is not happy. It's going to be another 11 weeks before I get the chance to sleep at 11pm/12am every night - which really wouldn't be such a bad thing because it's unhealthy and I get up with the day half gone.
I am NOT looking forward to winter.
It's only April and today was fuh-reezing. My toes are falling off as we speak. TG one winter skirt has been hemmed up though. Took me 13802219 hours, I swear on my life. Imagine in form one we had to sew a whole skirt; I couldn't even put the darned thread into the darned needle. And if I'm reminiscing correctly, they were those ancient sewing machines... I bet they're still there :D I'm not complaining, when we tried using the fast modern ones, they shook the table so much we all got scared. Not that any of us used the old ones properly anyway. Turning the wheel with our hands made progress oh-so-slow but oh-so-perfect. :)

Another drama finished. This time it's Singaporean, not from Hong Kong or Taiwan. I've never watched a Jap drama apart from a bit of Hana Kimi and the only Korean drama I'm watching is You're Beautiful - which I'm still in the process of watching. /sigh
Anyway, this one's called The Little Nyonya and it's quite good. I wasn't looking forward to it but it's decent enough. If you want to know how decent, I'll just say that my mum and I stayed up to 3am last night this morning to finish it. Draggy though. I yelled at the TV to hurry up quite a few times.
You know there's always that certain character in Asian dramas that you want to slap ? Well in The Little Nyonya I felt like slapping everyone, save for a few select people. Yes, even the "good" characters. They just go on my nerves so much. /slap slap
I always feel like clapping when drama's are finished. Movies too. Must be some weird trait of mine.
Methinks it's time to rearrange my tags again. They're outta control !
Bring on the loud cymbals, exploding firecrackers and lion dances!!! Though I really won't be experiencing any of them this year, the memory will still live on in my head. Like the memory of when we went to Penang one CNY, eons ago, and my paternal grandma absolutely refused to let the lion dance in front of the house. I think I cried. And then cheered up when all us kids got ice cream and had some fun squashing ourselves into my cousin's toy car, one of those small one that have to be pedalled. I bet I wouldn't even be able to fit both my feet into that car anymore, let alone my body. Ahh, happy days.
Oh, before I get carried away....
恭喜发财!HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! 新年快了!
And yes, I do know what the Chinese characters say. I may be a noob, but I'm not that much of a noob. :)
So this year there isn't any loud, noisy to the point of being annoying, music, but I got enough of that when I went to Jusco in December. Hearing the same song being played over and over again has fulfilled my yearly dosage.
To all my readers, hope you have a happy and prosperous new year, regardless of whether you celebrate this festival or not, because goodwill and happiness is entitled to all, not just to us Chinese.
And just because it's the year of the Tiger doesn't mean we can all go out and do a Tiger Woods, because they're just not the same. So don't even think about it.

I've slapped myself about 10 times today. No, not to wake myself up, because my biological clock certainly took care of that for me, but because I swore. Superstition says you're not supposed to. And I believe superstition. And if I didn't slap myself, my mum or sis would have been happy to.
Slap no.1 was born when I accidentally ate those dinky little deep fried prawn popias. LOVE them.
Mum: Hey, we're supposed to be vegetarian today! Me: Oh shit! *quickly crunches up the one in my mouth and slaps myself.* Me: Oh shi- I swore! *slaps myself again.*
Call me a ditz sometimes, I don't mind. In fact, you could call me a ditz, a klutz, and anything else that ends with a -tz.
Going to my mum's cousin's house later. As soon as my parents and sis come back from their walk, though they're most likely flying. I mean, I'm getting blown off the chair just sitting next to the window.
And I have a physics test tomorrow, which I'm totally freaking out for because my brain just isn't processing textbook information. So it's lucky I have my sister's old notes. Which really say the exact same thing as in the textbook.
Two weeks til Christmas! My fave holiday of the year! *Jumps up and down
So... Kris Kringle during lunch, I got earrings and a photo frame from Suelyn (Thanks Suelyn, I ♥ you!), but now I gotta look for the shoelaces on my own LOLLLL
Then I went off to find Cass and all and we had a photo session in the hallway, haha. The teachers and all were looking at us like we were dealing drugs or something. I'll never see Ms Minn again! ): She was my fave teacher ever! Well, maybe tied with Ms Reid, LOL, but they're different.
Well, at least Ms Minn exists in the world of facebook :D

There are two mynahs outside my window, nodding their heads like they're agreeing with my typing. Singing as well. They're probably here to eat the ri-

And I have not lost that debate on Noetic Science yet, @Arif :3
So Cassie burned the Boys Like Girls cd for me over the weekend, and I am now addicted to it. Like seriously addicted to it. I've been listening to it every single day since I've gotten it. And I've now confirmed that Boys Like Girls is serious LOVE. I'm so in love with Martin Johnson!!!!!!! *fangirl squeal.
And NO, this isn't the first time I've heard of Boys Like Girls, it's just that I only had 3 songs from them; The Great Escape (which I've loved since I first heard it 2 years ago :D), Five Minutes to Midnight and Thunder (which reminds me of last winter because I listened to it during winter non-stop. It also makes me feel kinda despondent.. and I have no idea. Last winter makes me feel a bit despondent).
Cass also burned Minutes to Midnight by Linkin Park, another fave band for years! :D I heart Cass so much now, she loves the same music as me (: And now obsessed with Valentine's Day by LP because it's just awesome. Will post the lyrics here one day. (:
So... now here I am, on msn, trading BLG songs with one of my recent besties, Keefe! I don't even know how we became besties... I'd known him since form 2 but never really talked to him.. and then he said hi to me on msn once and we sorta... clicked. I think that's the word. Anyway, another bestie that I've never really talked to in real life. And... I just went off course. :P As always. And he's just gone away for an hour... ditched me again. -.-
And... am now reading the gut-churning messages between my friend and her boyfriend on facebook... makes me feel like I wanna puke. :S I don't think I do the lovey-dovey thing... I have my own style of showing affection ;)
So I've given up on Shuriken.
"Who said it's better to have loved and lost? I wish that I had never loved at all. - Up Against The Wall, Boys Like Girls"
I didn't go to school today, I've got the flu. And to all those noobs out there, NO, it is NOT H1N1... so don't even let that idea pop into your little cerebellums.
So I'm feeling a bit crappy because I'm sick obviously, but I'm also feeling insanely relieved, because I don't have to go to school and be subject to Tarzan and all her ways that piss the hell out of me.
I mean, at least the animated Tarzan didn't swear, flash others or act like a slut. The Tarzan I know is just disgusting. I mean, seriously, if you just love flashing your undies around and dressing like a slut and thinking you have all that when you most definitely don't, why don't you just walk around naked? Why do you even bother with clothes, Tarzan, when you only wear the bare minimum of it? At least I know what you have in common with the cartoonTarzan, he probably had a head full of dandruff like you and I bet he didn't wash his hair exactly like you. I also bet that he doesn't wash his hands at all, but I bet he doesn't spit all over the place like you.
Oh, and don't ever touch me because I don't want to feel your disgusting hands on me, ever. And I bet the animated Tarzan doesn't go around grabbing food off other people, thinking he knows everything when he doesn't and screaming when a fly flies around his head. Unlike someone. And I have a name, in case you haven't noticed, so the next time you ask me a question by poking me or saying 'Oi', I won't respond. That's your friggin problem.
Sorry, this post just turned into a rant. I didn't mean it to be, but I needed to let it out. D: Tarzan's seriously pissing me off.
I'm sitting in the bedroom, looking out the window, doing parabolas. A couple of hours ago a white butterfly suddenly flew into the backyard and fell straight into a pile of weeds that we'd pulled up. I had a feeling I'd just witnessed my 2nd death of an animal (my first was watching a pigeon get run over. Not a pretty sight.)
It stayed in that pile of weeds for a long time. Maybe around 10 minutes.
I wished it'd get back up, fly away. Why do butterflies only live for around 2 weeks? Something as pretty as them should live longer. But then again, if they did, the risk of them getting caught and pinned to a board might be higher.
So I stared at that pile of weeds, willing that butterfly to get back up.
I watched the wind blow the white wings around, just visible above the green.
That was when the pretty white butterfly flew up and landed on the rosemary bush just to the left of it.
I cheered. Out loud. Thank God my mum wasn't in the house :P
And then I watched that butterfly fly away over the roof of the neighbour's house.
So, a happy ending.
Doesn't it make you wish that wishing hard enough could bring someone back from the dead?
My fingers hurt like hell. Well, Howie said it would since I'm learning chords right now... but nobody said the strings would cut into my fingers!!!! My second finger on my left hand has a perpetual line through it now. I wouldn't be surprised if one day my finger just gets sliced right off. Ouch. That would hurt even more. D:
On a happier note, at least I can play the C, G and D chords now! Woot! Not very well (especially the D & D7)but at least it's better than when I first started. I went to youtube. And they taught me a different way to play C. So... now I don't know which one is the right one, but I'd follow youtube. :D
Weather report for today: Freakin cold. The top was 13, but it felt like 7. It's 7 now but according to the newspaper online, it feels like 2. D: I'm dyingggg.... I ended up wearing my tights, shorts, singlet, tee and jumper for PE. And I got hot... xD Because we were playing indoor hockey. I stole Relle's shoes and Kate took them away. Muahahhhahahaha. 0.<
Great... now we have squash tomorrow, thursday and friday. D: I haven't done this for a looooong time. Playing 2/3 days in a row that is.
Aaaa... the good old days when MSSM was 6 days in a row and the whole FT team stayed in shacks. xD Fun times.
