For anyone who's interested, my pencil case was still on top of the lockers. My mum said I was lucky. I beg to differ. I say that the people in my locker area were too lazy to reach up and take it for themselves.
Hey everyone, I'm back to normal!
As normal as I can get, at least.
It seems that the K-pop phase has passed on... because lately I've gotten sick of all my korean songs. I think I've listened to them one too many times. Oh dear. I probably sound like a total traitor... but I'm not. I'm simply taking a break from it.
I'll probably get back to it when B2ST makes their comeback.
But for now, I've been getting stuck into my old old rock songs. As in my Muse, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds to Mars, Tokio Hotel and Linkin Park songs. I've had to re-download some 30STM songs because they're all gone.
iPod went corrupt, remember?
So I'll have to re-download ALL my Good Charlotte songs, and some My Chemical Romance (I only have three left) and Linkin Park as well.
Sigh.
I miss you guys. Somehow msn just isn't the same. And msn makes me miss you more. I miss you more.
LISTENING TO: Time Is Running Out - Muse.
EDIT: I've had hiccups 4 times today. 4 freakin times. How annoying are they?! And I scratched a scab on arm that I didn't even know was there.
Bring on the loud cymbals, exploding firecrackers and lion dances!!! Though I really won't be experiencing any of them this year, the memory will still live on in my head. Like the memory of when we went to Penang one CNY, eons ago, and my paternal grandma absolutely refused to let the lion dance in front of the house. I think I cried. And then cheered up when all us kids got ice cream and had some fun squashing ourselves into my cousin's toy car, one of those small one that have to be pedalled. I bet I wouldn't even be able to fit both my feet into that car anymore, let alone my body. Ahh, happy days.
Oh, before I get carried away....
恭喜发财!HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! 新年快了!
And yes, I do know what the Chinese characters say. I may be a noob, but I'm not that much of a noob. :)
So this year there isn't any loud, noisy to the point of being annoying, music, but I got enough of that when I went to Jusco in December. Hearing the same song being played over and over again has fulfilled my yearly dosage.
To all my readers, hope you have a happy and prosperous new year, regardless of whether you celebrate this festival or not, because goodwill and happiness is entitled to all, not just to us Chinese.
And just because it's the year of the Tiger doesn't mean we can all go out and do a Tiger Woods, because they're just not the same. So don't even think about it.

I've slapped myself about 10 times today. No, not to wake myself up, because my biological clock certainly took care of that for me, but because I swore. Superstition says you're not supposed to. And I believe superstition. And if I didn't slap myself, my mum or sis would have been happy to.
Slap no.1 was born when I accidentally ate those dinky little deep fried prawn popias. LOVE them.
Mum: Hey, we're supposed to be vegetarian today! Me: Oh shit! *quickly crunches up the one in my mouth and slaps myself.* Me: Oh shi- I swore! *slaps myself again.*
Call me a ditz sometimes, I don't mind. In fact, you could call me a ditz, a klutz, and anything else that ends with a -tz.
Going to my mum's cousin's house later. As soon as my parents and sis come back from their walk, though they're most likely flying. I mean, I'm getting blown off the chair just sitting next to the window.
And I have a physics test tomorrow, which I'm totally freaking out for because my brain just isn't processing textbook information. So it's lucky I have my sister's old notes. Which really say the exact same thing as in the textbook.
My Japanese textbook asked me this question: Q: Anata no ichiban no tomodachi no otanjyoubi wa nan gatsu nan nichi desu ka? Translation: What is the day and month of your best friend's birthday? (Shut up, I know I had to make the translation complicated).
Well, that got me. I didn't answer the question. If any of the people I think of as best friends think of me as best friends... well, I'm waiting.
Me: So do you have anyone in mind for Valentines Day? Arif: Chinese New Year la... too busy collecting ang pau. Don't think about girls. Save up money for after SPM, then party. No time for girls.
If I wanted to desribe Howie using recent references, Howie would be my-haka-dancing-cheer-leading-maori-speaking-music-genius-inclined-sheep little brother. I'm pretty sure there's wayyyy more descriptions floating around somewhere... but I'm too steeped in maths (both maths!) to catch them with my trusty jellyfishing net.
Ciao for now.
EDIT: Since we were on the topic of Japanese, just wanted to add that I got vice captain for Japanese!!! Wooooot! Can't believe I forgot to mention it. HAHA. Yeah... and I don't have to make a speech when the Japanese exchange students come, because that's what the captains are for. Teehee.
The only excuse I can say is that school got the best of me. Or, more like, physics and advanced general maths and maths methods and VisCom and english and japanese got the most of me. :)
Oh well, all I really need is my trusty notebook(s) (Note the plural!) next to me and I'm happy.
But let me just stare at the screen featuring my current eye-candy obsession, U-Kiss.
