When You're Gone
March 24, 2009 9:35:00 PM
Song Choice: When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne
When Youre Gone - Avril LavigneMost people would probs know this song because they played it on the radio so so so many times in 2007. When I was still in Malaysia. When everything was happy happy happy. When
the pieces of my heart don't miss you as much as I do now.
*
I've been reading my old diaries. Yes. I still have them here (because I brought them, obviously) and the saddest ever entries are every single one of them. I never ever ever realised how much I actually miss those little people in that little country most people have never heard of.
Most people have never heard of.It's weird to think that here people ask "Malaysia? where's that?" when in Malaysia people go, OH Australia. That Place. It's weird that I've never really thought of Malaysia as an unknown country, unknown countries are countries like... timbuktu. If there was ever a place named timbuktu.
*
Form 2 KA. Every Wednesday. Wen Yi, Sonia, Li Shiann, Melissa, Sarah, Sabi, Loong Chern, Manreena and I troop over to 2 Murni.
Where Darren and Ian always are.
I always loved KA.
Because I loved just hanging around on the floor of the back of 2M, listening to Darren Hor arguing with that tall annoying chinese girl he hated, watching Darren Chow and Ian tie my shoelaces together and then smacking them when I couldn't get them back out, rubbing Sarah's leg when she got cramp that day, just basically able to be
myself in school.
Not the quiet nerdy girl that most people here see.
Me.
Me and a whole bunch of my entourage who I was pretty sure loved me but now couldn't be bothered about me. Where I could sit with
him and laugh and it wouldnt look suspicious because everyone was doing the same thing.
Only they weren't the one silently loving others.
I'd love to know what everyone does these days. But no one ever talks to me, no one ever emails me, no one ever sends me letters, I'm the one who always has to do all that.
I'm the one who starts it and ends it.
*
Oh look, isn't that whats-her-name, she was there for me when I nearly got suspended or even expelled when I joked with that teacher and he told me that what I said was rude and disgusting, she was the one who always helped me with my maths when I didn't get it, she talked to me and cheered me up when I was in the deepets dumps, she included the ones who didn't feel included and weren't being included, she made up stories about all of us and made them the nicest stories in the world, she sat back-to-back with me when it was her last week of school with me and she felt my warmth through my shirt, she made birthday cards for me even when she wasn't in the same country anymore.
She was always smiling. She was always laughing. She was always ready to help, ready to cheer someone up even when she was crying inside, dying inside.
What's her name again? When was her birthday again? Where's she gone?
When's she coming back?
Is she ever coming back?
I miss her.
I want her back.
She is coming back, right?

Best Days
March 22, 2009 8:51:00 PM
Song Choice: Best Days by Graham Colton.
In case you need reminding, this song was used for the American Idol Season 7 farewell theme. You know, when the contestants are (at times,
finally) sent home.
It's quite nice, and I've never heard of Graham Colton in my life. He's got a kinda nice voice. If (and when) I get a guitar, I'd try to play this song. (:
Best Days - Graham Colton*
Today.... went to have lunch with my aunt and uncle in their house in Kew. Have I mentioned my baby cousin too?? Her name's Hayley, she'll be 4 months next week. (: She's so so
so adorable!!! She has grey/green eyes and dark brown/black hair. Because her dad's Chinese and her mum's Italian.
She's so small and cute, it's like a doll. (: And she drools alot. But she's a baby, she's allowed to drool. If you were ever caught drooling at my age, you were either extremely mentally retarded, or an extremely hawt person of the opposite sex just walked past. xD
We made cupcakes!!!!! To take. (: It took us 2 whole hours to ice 16 cupcakes. O_o and none of them were the same. Because I didn't want them to. (: I made 2 with faces on it, 1 with a smiley-winking face and one with a NO-DON'T-EAT-ME-scrunched-up face. xD My sis and I ate the smiley-winking one. But my cousin had to take the first bite coz we felt extremely kesian. That's how adorable it was. (:
We also made an Elmo and Big Bird cupcake!! My aunt kept the Big Bird one in the freezer, she didn't feel like eating it either. xD We kept the Elmo one coz it was cute. Don't know how we're gonna eat it tho. Mb it's better to make 2 of the same, so you won't feel like it's gone forever when you've eaten one. (:
Then there was one with a BIG PINK LOVE HEART on it. I made that. It's niceeeeee. I'll put the pics up once we've transfered it from the cam. (:
*
Everytime I come to my blog, my counter moves up
one. Just one. Which means it's only
ME visiting my
own blog. Dx Not the best feeling in the world, but I guess it's aso a good thing because I can
write type whatever I want and nobody's going to read it because nobody cares.
and nobody cares because I'm the biggest nobody in the world.
Isn't it weird in school that the nerds and weirdos are mostly the most popular because they stand out from the crowd even though people think they're just nerds?? And becaue people think about them, they're popular.
Me, I'm just a small speck on the brink of
existence extinction.
So Goodbye world.
Oh wait, you never said Hi to me anyway.

Burning Up
March 20, 2009 8:53:00 PM
Song choice: Burning Up - Jonas Brothers.
YES, I admit I listen to the Jonas Brothers, but I don't particularly
love this song but it's appropriate right now. Why is it that the nice titles end up with corny songs??
and even cornier/ cheesier/ lame videos.
I mean,
seriously has anyone
seen the Burning Up vid??? It's so lame it's hilarious. I literally cracked up laughing and then felt embarrassed for the JB... how stupid would you feel doing a vid like that??
*
Anyway, in reference to the title... I have a flu.
Rephrase: I have
the flu. IS there an actual thing to refer the flu to?! It doesn't sound right as "a" or "the".
Anyone ready for an English lesson?
It all started with a small small small sore throat and then blew up into a full scale honking sneezing-runny nose-cough-sleeping the whole day 2 days in a row- sickness. And if anyone has ever heard me sneeze, they would know what I sound like right now.
Cassie could
not stop laughing when I honked during English... I had to run to Christie who had to dig out a tissue from the packet I threw at her because I had one hand over my nose and I'm not going into details with what was
behind the hand over the nose.
Oh and Ms Reid now thinks that I'm absolutely
bonkers... xD
But it was only for today!!! I went high in English. (: Christie and I ended up doing
no work at all.
*
We had a mini earthquake (ok, ok, mum, it's a
tremor) 2 days ago... I was on the bed, trying to sleep when the bed suddenly started shaking. Serious. It was literally
shaking and when you're on something as unstable as a matress, it is no joke.
It was longer than the last one... yes, this has been the 2nd tremor in 2 weeks. Anyway, after about 5 seconds of it, I jumped off the bed, ran to the kitchen and screamed
"EARTHQUAKE EARTHQUAKE!!!"
and my sister calmly sitting at the dining table says:
"It's just the wind la."
See what kind of weirdo family I have??? Is it a wonder that I'm like this???? OH and then she realised the table was shaking and she started screaming EARTHQUAKE too so it ended up pretty funny. NO casualties, but my mum went around the house checking for cracks.
It was actually shiz scary.
*
Lots of things to write about today, but none of them relate to each other. (;
During 日本語 (Japanese), Sneha and I were playing this game thing that our teacher asked us to play in pairs when suddenly I felt like something touched me. On my shoulder. Only it wasn't like on top of my jumper and dress, it was more like
in between.
On my skin.
It was cold and it was like gripping my shoulder and I jumped. Like seriously jumped. Sneha actually looked worried. She was like "What?! What happened?!"
That was even more scary than a 4.5 tremor on the richter scale. Because I was pretty sure it wasn't a muscle spasm, muscle spasms don't turn your shoulder cold and clammy.
I don't even want to
think about what it was.

Don't Jump
March 16, 2009 10:21:00 PM
Song Choice: Don't Jump - Tokio Hotel
Dont Jump - Tokio HotelSounds emo enough huh? Only I'm not emo. Not not not not not not. Just, you know, you're average rock-hard, unique (thanks for the compliment, martin) and none-the-less typical teenager. Who's a die hard fan of muse.
A die hard fan of rock/punk.
*
Today was the coldest day of the
year. And the year just started. O_O
So is that good or bad?????? Hope it's..... good? Bad? either way there are pros and cons anyway. (: And it's practically autumn by now, it's allowed to be cold. Oh well..
We had our tetanus/diphtheria/whooping cough injecitons today. It wasn't too bad, I squeezed my eyes shut while she was doing it, and at least I didn't get the same woman as Lucy did, who told her that she was wiggling the needle around now.
DO WE HONESTLY NEED TO KNOW WHETHER YOU'RE WIGGLING THE DAMN NEEDLE AROUND??!!
Some people just have the smallest brains in the world. If they even have one. If they do, they're obviously not using it.
I got cheated out of my jelly bean. Yes, we got jelly beans after our jabs. I took a black one without thinking. It's
disgusting. It's
licorice. I am definitely not the licorice lover. Rawr. So I took another one. Green this time. (: The nurse let me. MUAHAHAHHAHA, suck on that.
Umm, my arm is really sore right now... I wont' be able to sleep on it and I can't even lift it higher than me shoulder. I hate jabs. I didn't even have my BCG when I was in std 6... Boys Chase Girls we called it. LOL.
So, yea. The biggest highlight of the day. (: Not the best, but something worth
righting (wtf)
writing about huh???
Though we weren't as bad off as the year sevens, some of them had to take 3 jabs. O_o. Suelyn's sis took 3. Christie's sis took 2. One is bad enough. Honestly.
Poor Year 7s...

Assassin
March 15, 2009 9:40:00 PM
Song Choice: Assassin by Muse.
It's confirmed. I've gone back to the rock/punk music mode. Or, more appropriately: the Muse/My Chemical Romance/Linkin Park/Good Charlotte/Breaking Benjamin/30 Seconds To Mars music mode.
Maybe it's just who I am.
Not the bubbly, rainbows-and-bunnies person that people think I am.
If they ever thought that.
*
Went to the Melbourne Food and Wine fest today. It was at Federation Square, and it wasn't as spectacular as my imagination and the newspapers made it out to be. Okay, so it was pretty cool in a way because I've never been to a Food and Wine Festival before, but I definitely though it would be
bigger for one thing. ):
But I guess the nicest part of it was dressing up to go. :) I'm your quirky dresser when it comes to going out to the city, and one nice thing about being in Melbourne is that it's cold, so you can layer your clothes and make it look awesome. :D
I wore black tights and my PDI shorts, and a black long sleeve under my cat-rolled-under-the-car t-shirt. Which is red. My shorts are brown. I wore them when Darren and Martin and Li Shiann came over to my house and we walked over to Wen's house. I loveeee them.
Anyway, paired with a Polo jacket and Adidas shoes, it kinda looked okay. (:
We bought a chocolate slushy/slurpee and a chocolate mousse. The slushy was nicer than the mousse. (: The mousse got kinda sickening after a while.
But it's all good.
I like taking the train. The trains are kinda nice. Only it would be nicer taking the train to the city with a friend. I only take it with a friend on Fridays when Amy goes to work in the city.
Oh wells.
Whatever they say, these people are torn.Labels: m; nostalgic
Faint
March 14, 2009 8:37:00 PM
Song Choice: Faint - Linkin Park.
Faint - LinkinParkWhy is that the URL is so bloody long and the player that comes out is so bloody small?
*
I am so bloody pissed off right now it's not funny. Life is so bloody unfair.
I need my noisy music right now.
*puts on the Noise playlist on iPod*
That's better.
I find noisy music helps alot in situations where you want to scream out to the world. Scream and scream and scream until there's nothing left. Nothing left to scream at. Nothing left to scream with. Nothing left to scream about.
Nothing.
Wouldn't you feel like hell if one of you're supposedly "best" friends posted pictures up on her blog/facebook/friendster/whatever and labelled it
BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE! only.....you were missing from that album. You look and look and look and there's no trace of you anywhere, you just vanished from the face of earth.
and then you think,
I'm pretty sure that if I wasn't there, none of these people would have met each other, let alone be the best friends that they are now.But they don't seem to remember that because apparently they've been best friends since the earth began although it's only been 3 years. And you were the glue that held them together, only you don't even get a recognition anymore because you've left the country.
So... I have a right to be mad right?
Because when I was there everyone said "The 6 of us forever!"
Now it's "The 5 of us forever!"
Only it seems more like the 2 of them because they couldn't give a damn about the others anymore. So thanks. Thanks for trying to keep alive the friendship that we had going for a year. Thanks for not keeping your promise and letting everything fall apart.
Thanks for leaving them out, Thanks for just talking about stuff that only the 2 of you understand, Thanks for leaving the whole group out because you were the best friends all along. Nobody else mattered. Not even me.
And I know that I won't even get a You're Welcome.

Sticky Note
3:46:00 PM
Dear Diary,
Now would the best setting to describe a ghost story.
It's raining (wow, it's actually raining in Victoria!!).
The sky is freakishly dark.
The house has no lights on.
Lightning cracking across the sky. (Okay, I lied, there IS no lightning or thunder)
Suddenly.
The sun comes out.
The room fills up with the happy light.
You hear a noise behind you.
You turn around.
You can imagine the rest. (:
Stolen
March 13, 2009 9:24:00 PM
Song choice: Stolen - Dashboard Confessionals. Niceee song. (:
Stolen - Dashboard Confessional*
Ouch.
About half an hour ago I bashed my head against the window sill. You're probably thinking
"How the hell did she manage to hit her head against the window sill when it's apparently at waist height???"Hell, I'd like to know how myself.
I was scanning in some pics that I drew to upload to deviantart and the switch for the printer was near the floor (Nah duhhhhhh) and I somehow landed my forehead right on the window sill. It was literally an explosion of pain. I actually couldnt open my eyes. Which tells you how fast I must have been moving downwards to the switch. xD
I reckon I have a lump now. I can
feel it.
Damn.
As if I don't have enough lumps on my head already. I have a scar from when I was 6 years old!!! And that just means one thing:
STORY TIMESo there I am, happily pedalling around on my small tricycle that wouldn't even
think about fitting my in my present state and then my oh-so-happy-go-lucky sister jumps out of nowhere and fits herself behind me on that tricycle. (Before I go on, I should add that we were living in a apartment then. We were cycling near a hill. Obviously not a grass hill, a hill made of tarmac, obviously).
So my sister slots herself behind me, gives the tricycle an almighty push, and I don't have
any control over the thing whatsoever... so we both end up speeding down the hill and I end up clanging my precious and fragile head against the big, nasty, iron gate at the bottom of the hill. Sounds nice, eh?
And that's why I prefer having a side fringe on the right side of my head, and that's why no-one actually knkows I have a scar there because it's obviously covered up. Oh. That was probably the second time I hit my head. But the others are different stories.
THE ENDYou Have Stolen My Heart
PS: It is the
second Friday the Thirteenth out of three this year!!!
So does that make it luckier or
un-luckier?

Too lazy to go and find the song on Imeem... and everyone knows it anyway, it's playing on radios around the world. Weeelll, malaysia and australia as far as I know, but I bet in the US too and maybe, just maybe, aorund the world. T.T
randomnessssss.........
No clear reason for blogging today.... usually people write
everyday and about
everything but I don't do that. Ok, I used to. Myabe still do. I don't have lots of readers to tell me whether I am or not. But I know
one thing (and hopefully a whole lot more stuff!) and that is that I do NOT write personal personal stuff in this blog.
Unlike
some people who just tell the whole world about someone and somebody and how they feel about them and who they want to kill them and shiz.
Aren't you just so happy I don't do that sometimes???
Hang on. Rephrase.
Aren't you so happy I don't do that at
all???

THANK YOU marcus for sending me a postcard from bucharest. bucherest? I don't really know ho9w to speel it, exactly... I thought it was with an A but marcus put it with an E and he went there so I don't actually know. O_o
anyway, I have 2 postcards now!!!
one from Jess, who went on tour through europe last year (lucky shiz huh) and she sent me one from Bedoin, Provence, and now one from Marcus!! woot!!!
I stuck them on my wall, not for sentimental reasons, but because of the ditzy klutz that I am, I'm most likely going to lose it somewhere. (:

Scream
March 08, 2009 5:11:00 PM
Song choice: Scream by Tokio Hotel.
Scream - Tokio Hotel*
Reasons to Scream:
► I forgot to bring my Maths and Humanities homework home.
► My Maths CD goes kaput on the front page of Chapter 9 : Measurement.
► My Science CD doesn't work at
all.
► I have a Japanese writing task to start and finish.
► I have to memorise that writing task as a speaking assessment.
► I bet no-one remembers my birthday.
Ok, the last one was random, but the others are all
true. It Is Freaking ANNOYING. RAWR!!!!
*breaks the stupid, gay, lesbian Cd's in half*
*stares at them on the floor*
*picks them up*
*glues them back*
*breaks them in half again*
See how annoyed I am? To even think about doing these useless things....
hey
Hey.
HEY.
THAT'S LIKE THE BEST FREAKIN IDEA FOR MY TOKIO HOTEL COMIC!!!!!!Random much? But I've been having a brain-block on those darn comics that Tokio Hotel fans love and I am now stuck at number.... 11. I did 9 and 10... in January. See how bad the joking-block was?! I couldn't think of
any jokes at all. Now I have one.
Just, you know, one more to go.
Damn.
Screw it all.
I'm feeling 4 different emotions right now.

A Little Too Not Over You
March 05, 2009 5:57:00 PM
Song choice:A Little Too Not Over You - David Archuleta
Apparently that's the case with Rihanna. I'm sure everyone knows about her supposedly loving, adoring, superstar boyfriend Chris Brown beating her up. I mean, he punched her in the face and choked her. What kind of person would do that?! And if you've seen the pictures, you would want to kill him.
Only now it seems that she's as stupid as the songs that she can't sing.
If you had a boyfriend who beat you up, would you ever consider making up with him?? Let alone
marrying him. Well, that's exactly what she's done.
Don't believe me? I have news to prove it!!

In The End
March 04, 2009 5:42:00 PM
Song choice: In The End by Linkin Park. Gawd knows how old this song actually is.
In The End - Linkin ParkEDIT: I said in my last post that Darren Chow's birthday was on the 3rd. I stand corrected. Like always. It is actually
today.... so...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARREN!!!!
The bestest older brother in the world. (: Though for some reason we have it hammered in our heads that he's my younger brother but I'm his younger sis. Which doesn't make sense when you actually think about it. But who gives a damn.
YOU'RE 16!!!! MUAHAHHAHAH.
And now he'd better remember my birthday or I'll kill him the next time I see him. *winkz*
You have been warned, Darren Chow Ken Choong. So BEWARE. Muahahahhaa.
*
Today was freakin cold. Yesterday was freakin hot. And with the difference of the two day's temperatures in mind, I can only say one thing. Welcome to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Where The Weather Is As Unpredictable As The Plant That Just Shot Up In Your Garden. That should be Victoria's tourism slogan. Seeing as weirdo plants are always sprouting up in
my backyard. And Victoria is supposedly the "Garden State."
As far as I can see, there isn't a garden to be a state of anymore.
I actually
wore my blazer walking from the train station to school this morning. It was
that cold. I
never wear my blazer except for College Assembly, the 10 seconds walking out of school, and the 5 seconds walking through the school gate.
Well, would you wear a blazer that was a size too big for you??
Of course, I'm not as bad off as Jivien, who has a size 18 (mine's a size 17) and she only comes up to my nose. I swear. We measured yesterday. ;D Her blazer makes her look like a midget. Honest. Her dad bought it for her in Year 7 with the thought that she would grow.
She hasn't grown in 4 years.
Niceee. ;)
But In The End, It Doesn't Even Matter.
Hysteria
March 02, 2009 9:57:00 PM
Song choice: Hysteria by Muse. Wow an English song. :)
and I can't find it on imeem.com so you're gonna have to find it and listen to it yourself.
So let's review and predict the agenda on my ever-growing list of things to do.
Yesterday: TOTAL HYSTERIA
Today: TOTAL HYSTERIA
Tomorrow: TOTAL TOTAL HYSTERIA
Wednesday: TOTAL HYSTERIA
Thursday: TOTAL HYSTERIA
Friday: TOTAL HYSTERIA
Hmm. At least last Saturday was a relatively normal day.
I'm going to go crazy with all this work being heaped on me!!!!!!!!!! And the fact that my oh-so-nice-and-smart-and-tolerant-maths-teacher-Mr-Santos is expecting us to do things at once in class
definitely doesn't help.In fact, he's just making it worse.
I reckon tomorrow would be te worst. I have a Peer Support session (no, it's not for me, it's for the year 7's. I'm just one of the leaders)
and there's a casual dress day
and and I have a maths test
and I have to finish my Science report on Genetic Diseases.
Not to mention prepare for my Japanese writing, reading, listening and speaking test.
Not to mention that I have to prepare a draft on the subject of Stage by
Thursday for English.
And finish annotating the drawing of a 1920's fashion for Humanities (History and Geography to you.
Not to mention prepare for the Peer Support session right NOW.
Gawd, it's almost like being in University.
Hope it's Melbourne University. :D
Have I also mentioned that it's going to be Darren Chow's birthday tomorrow?
I live a hysterical life. Not that the song mentions it. Unless my life has a line that goes "Cause I want it now, I want it now, Give me your heart and your soul." or 'I'll break it out, I'll break it out, I swear to lose control."
Violent.
Hope he's not singing about tearing out the heart. O_o
I even forgot to mention that it's the Second Day of Autumn. Go me!!
Oh and tomorrow we have gale-force winds that could reach about 140km/h and it's gonna be about 36 degrees celcius.
That's all for the weather report today.
