Bye Maknae! :)
January 07, 2010 10:43:00 PM

We caught a rat today. :)

Well, more like last night, but I doubt it because I was still up at 1 and we hadn't caught it yet.

[pause]Ouch, I just bashed my knee on the table. NTS: Don't ever try crossing your legs when you're sitting on a chair.[/pause]

Anyway, we always get rats in the house. Not that our house is dirty - if you see my Mum get going with the vacuum... you'll know the house isn't dirty - but sometimes if we leave the doors open at night they run in. Don't ask me from where. The storm drain 2 houses away from me might be the answer, but I don't want to think about it.

Anyway, couple of days ago we accidentally left the French doors open and... yup, you guessed it.
Lucky no one broke in... well, no person anyway.

Over the next few days that rat little fella - as my dad likes to call it - wrecked havoc all over the house. Just kidding. More like it left some poo here and there, like on the staircase and then in our bedroom. -.-

And then it got hungry and decided to have a little chew on our earphones. I kid you not this time. I don't even want to put them in my ear anymore. My sister did, and she thought she was going to die. HAHA.

When we woke up we ran down to look. It was tiny. And soooo cuteeee. [insert]smiley cute face complete with adored squeals[/insert].

We I named it Maknae. It means baby in Korean. :D

We have this thing with naming rats whenever we catch them. Makes us remember them, I guess.

We set him her it free near the Equestrian Club. Lots of forest-y trees around there. Oh, we also have this thing with setting them free after we catch them. Comes with going to Buddhist Sunday School for two years. I do not kill living things. Especially cute living things.

I wanted to take a picture of it. Just for... memories. :3

But for all it's cuteness, it still had the characteristically long, slimy-worm-looking tail at the end of the small, brown-gray body with the eyes too big for its face.

Can you imagine it?
