What we learnt today.
Welcome to my new layout! I like it better than my old one, because it's not as dark and I can put music on it! And pictures! (Pictures and music are an important aspect of my life.) I have resolved to try to be funnier on my blog but it's pretty hard when there's no one to talk to but yourself. Staring at the white screen with the brown/gray box to type in the randoms.
Not very funny.
So today I spent the whole day trying to fix up this layout. What a way to spend the day, eh? But all worthwhile because I've learnt even
more html (yes, there is more html to learn!). I've also learnt that I need to buy a brand new bookshelf so I can buy even more books. I've read all mine at least 10 times. Imagine reading 8 books, one after another, for a whole year. It's like having just one song in your iTunes that's stuck on repeat.
And all questions answered, I am
not poor or anything, it's just that we left the whole bookcase back in
Malaysia and brought about 3% of it here because it'd be too heavy to bring everything (bookcase included). So when suelyn lent me a book today, I dove right in, forgetting my lifesaving jacket, oxygen tank and even wetsuit.
But who cares, because the book was awesome! So awesome, in fact, that I finished all 261 pages in less than 7 hours. Impressive huh? Of course it cost me most of science and japanese, but I can make up for them.
Nerd remember?
I've also learnt how to take out the damned bone from a chicken chop and have now added another reason to my list of 'Why I don't want to become a butcher.' So don't talk to me until you've deboned 4 chicken chops with no help at all and then I might consider you.
Let's review what I've done in the past hour.
cut up rock melon for dessert wash dishes put leftover rice in to plate for tomorrow put more rice into tupperware warmed up soup so it won't go bad put leftover rock melon into fridge cleared out chicken form fridge to make space for rice segregated chicken chops into smaller bags seperated chicken breasts in plastic bag played with chicken drumsticks put all chicken into freezer
andI would have dried and put away the dishes too only my sister came out of hiding and did them for me.
Thank you 姐!I came up with awesome quotes while I was washing the dishes but they seem to have been washed down the sink along with the soap.
Did I mention that if you did 1000 skips with a rope your calves feel like they've detached itself from your leg for a while? And then the next day you can't stand on your toes coz you feel like you're gonna get cramp. Like how I feel now. *Sigh.
Oh I also learnt how to say
forever in 3 different languages, so you can't blame us multilingual asians for being multilingual.
いつまでも. 영원히. 永远.
