Times when technology fails.
So there we are, happily watching Ice Age 3, sitting on the couch(es), drinking ginger beer (yum), when the CD starts to stall, right where the movie's ending. Of course we started making jokes about my dad taking it back to Malaysia to replace it because of course it's pirated and of course it's from Malaysia.
Exact thoughts:
Damn, I hate it when pirated CD's do that, now I can't watch the ending properly. So when it ended (and when I say ended, what I really mean is the movie decided to stall permanently on us.), we decided to watch Seven Pounds. And to all unanswered questions, it has
nothing to do with heavy people or people losing 7 pounds (this is for the ignorant people out there). I put in the CD, let it load, and then the player starting buzzing and making this spastic noise.
freaking scary.
Hurriedly took out the CD and switched off the player. Obviously it wasn't the pirated CD that was stalling, it was the spastic DVD player. *Rawr.
Damn these China-made technology. Now, if only
Decepticons were Made in China, they'd be easy to defeat, eh? Just have to find some faulty place and the whole thing falls apart. Or if they fight too long, they might just go spastic like my lovely DVD player here. Wouldn't the Autobots have an easy time fighting them then? *Transformers mode.
