Random badminton.
Okayyy, I haven't thought of a title yet, so let's leave it blank for now. I might just name it Untitled or something. (:
So we had a day off today because of Parent-Teacher Interviews (it's extremely different from Malaysia, so I won't go explaining it now, just ask me on msn :P) and I woke up around 10. Didn't mean to, I just happened to wake up then, with the help of the alarm. :D Damn, gone off the point again, if I ever had one to start with.
Oh yea, I do.
Badminton!!! :D
Around 2.40 my sis and I went out to the backyard to play badminton. Yes, our backyard is big enough to play badminton in it :D Anyway, this was only our second time playing there because let's face it, Melbourne's got to be the windiest place in the world. --" Not nice when you actually like playing a sport that involves hitting the lightest weight in the world with a racket. It just so happened that today wasn't windy at ALL. (Thank God!)
We used the same shuttlecock as our first session, and even then it was already beaten up pretty bad. Well, what can you do when you take two professional amateur squash players and make them play badminton? Squash requires some strength fyi.
W-ell, to make an extremely long story filled with laughing and screeching short, the end result was a pretty bashed up shuttlecock. If you could call it a shuttlecock anymore, because it, uhh, doesn't resemble on anymore. Probably because all the feathers are missing? And it' just a skeleton?
Excuse me for a few minutes while I laugh my head off. (I don't say ass, it's too crude in a blog with as much sophistication as mine *wink.)
I think if Lee Chong Wei saw these pictures, he'd cry.

I guess we could say it was almost like strip poker, because as we played longer and longer we started pulling off all the layers of clothing. Haha! I had on my trackies, a t-shirt and a long sleeve shirt on top. My sis had on trackies, a long sleeve, a zip up vest and a jumper. Haha! In the end I had on just my tee and I rolled up my pants to make them three quarter, which is wayy more comfortable for playing badminton in than trousers (I'm not a fan of long pants sometimes).
So yea, that's all except for the fact that we went back out about an hour later and did it all over again! Except for busting up the shuttlecock bit, because we used a new one and were wayyy more careful with it than the other. It felt so
heavy though, because before we were playng with an almost botak one xD
AND I've developed a new style to hit the shuttlecock when it's coming right at your head. Can't and won't explain it, except that I've named it the Cinapet Monkey Style. Seeing as it resembles something like it x)
And then when we were getting dinner ready I was doing this stupid praying mantis style kung fu pose and then I kicked. My moccasin flew off my right foot, backflipped over my head and landed on the kitchen counter. It landed right in front of the Kahlua bottle (my mum had just been making tiramisu).
