record timing!!! 470 pages of new moon in less than 36 hours. i never know how fast i really am in reading until i wrote this down. i didnt even know that it was 470 pages!!! and i gotte say that it wasnt as bad as i expected. but one thing that i feel that i really really have to say is that nothing seemed to happen much in those 470 stories. i can sum it up right here.

+ bella becomes best friends with jacob, who really likes her and wants to be with her but she still loves edward. + bella meets laurent who was going to kill her and who eventually gets chased away by a pack of huge wolves. + bella finds out that jacob is a werewolf. + bella goes cliff diving because she wanted to hear edward's voice in her head. she nearly drowns but jacob saves her. + alice sees her jumping off and assumes that she's killing herself. alice comes back to forks. + edward calls bella's house to check that she's alive but jacob picks up and tells him that charlie is at a funeral. (his friend's funeral, but edward thought it was bella's). + bella and alice go to Denali because alice sees edward asking the Volturi to kill him so he can be with bella. + alice, bella and edward face the volturi and aro asks bella to be a vampire. + alice, bella and edward escape and head back to forks, where edward explains why he left bella and he still loves her. + bella calls a vote from the cullens on whether she should be a vampire. + jacob no longer wants to be bella's friend.

so that's basically it. not much, dont you think? stephenie meyer definitely drags on alot. especially on jacob and bella. made me think that bella might just get over edward. turns out edward still loves her. anyway, i dont really like s. meyer's description of jacob... he seemed better as a kid.i dont particularly like guys who are all muscle. its just ew. jacob seemed ok when he was fixing the motorbikes... he wasnt all muscle yet. and i find it really weird that victoria still appears in the story. i'm guessing she'll get to be in eclipse and breaking dawn. lucky her. i would be lucky to even write a whole book, let alone 4. 5, counting midnight sun, which is coming out.... soon. but before i go off the path totally ( which i'm likely to do), i would like to say that new moon was a good book ( like the rest of the twilight lexicon) but there's definitely nothing that makes it extremely exciting. i'm better off reading the chronicles of narnia, although the idea of having a legend in the modern is pretty appealing. if only people would look at it from a reviewer's point of view, not just from the point of view that edward-cullen-is-hot. sigh. some people just dont understand.
